The Scandinavian Association brings together Scandinavians living and working in Western Australia. Our great Nordic House in Thornlie, is open every Saturday 2pm – 5pm for coffee, cake and chats. We have a great Library of books, DVDs and CDs of mixed languages for members to borrow and the centre can be hired out for events. The association is open to anyone with an interest in Scandinavian culture, languages and people. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a member or connecting with our dynamic community.
The objectives of the Scandinavian Association of WA are:
- To promote the harmonious interrelationship between Scandinavia and Australia.
- To hold functions to maintain the traditions of Scandinavia, including the national days.
- To maintain premises for the purpose of providing social and cultural activities.
