Fastelavn er mit navn, boller vil jeg have, hvis jeg ingen boller får, så laver jeg ballade……!
Fastelavn is a traditional Danish celebration, which has its origins in an old heathen custom. It is a carnival much loved by children who get to dress up in costume and to hit a wooden barrel specially made for the occasion and decorated with black cats.
Please join us at Nordic House at 3pm on Sunday 19 February for Fastelavn this year. Children can come dressed up if they wish.
The children will hit the barrel first, then we will all enjoy tea, coffee and Fastelavns buns.
