The Association’s Annual General Meeting was held at Nordic House on 6 September. For the first time, and at the request made at the 2013 AGM, the meeting was held at little later than in previous years. This resulted in an improved turn-out by members with 23 people attending. Swedish television available in Australia
SVT World is the international channel from Sweden’s public service broadcaster SVT. It offers a wide selection of content including news, entertainment, documentaries and drama series and is the only service that provides some of Sweden most popular shows to viewers abroad. The channel recently began broadcasting to Australia and New Zealand.
SVT World’s programs are mainly Swedish productions from the domestic public service channels, SVT1 and SVT2. The selection is complemented with programmes from SVTB (children’s channel), SVT24 and Kunskapskanalen (facts channel). The channel also includes a catch-up function which enables you to track back and watch several of last week’s best shows. Continue reading “Swedish television available in Australia”
