The Association’s Annual General Meeting was held at Nordic House on 6 September. SVT World is the international channel from Sweden’s public service broadcaster SVT. It offers a wide selection of content including news, entertainment, documentaries and drama series and is the only service that provides some of Sweden most popular shows to viewers abroad. The channel recently began broadcasting to Australia and New Zealand.

SVT World’s programs are mainly Swedish productions from the domestic public service channels, SVT1 and SVT2. The selection is complemented with programmes from SVTB (children’s channel), SVT24 and Kunskapskanalen (facts channel).
